Questions for the Government on delay to Hillsborough Law

Almost two months have passed since the Prime Minister missed his deadline for introducing the Hillsborough Law backed by families, survivors and campaign groups, even though the legislation is sitting here ready to go.

This week in Parliament I told the Government that a failure to introduce a Hillsborough Law worthy of the name will be seen as a continuation of the betrayal of survivors and families of Hillsborough and all those affected by state cover ups.
