End toxic and dehumanising narrative on immigration

Speaking in the Border Security, Asylum & Immigration Bill Second Reading debate, I called out the toxic, dehumanising political narrative around immigration and the shameless posturing of some politicians on this issue.

If we address the systemic inequality in this country, the toxicity around immigration loses its power.
